Goldfish Bacterial Infections

Are common among goldfish that are living in poor water conditions and especially if there is a high level of ammonia and nitrate present. If the goldfish has any wounds that occurred from poor handling or fighting, bacteria can infect the fish especially if the water conditions are not kept at an optimal level.

Treatment for Bacterial Infections

Bacterial problems are not that easy to spot, look for signs that your goldfish is acting out of sorts. If you then see that your fish has a bacterial infection, use a proprietary treatment immediately.
